Scripture Union Daily Guide 10 June 2024 Outline:
What lessons can we learn from good mentorship, apprenticeship, and teachable spirit? How delighted Moses was seeing his brother perform the duties of priesthood just as he taught him, and just as the Lord commanded. The sons of Aaron were also there to assist their father in this first duty (vs.9,18), that was perfectly done. A good teacher, a good father, a good mentor will always have joy for a job well done. We have trouble in the society today because our youth, especially young men, lacked the exemplary and sacrificial leadership and mentorship of the adults around them growing up.
Can you picture Moses like a heavenly gatekeeper and timekeeper. He prophetically said: “The Lord will appear to you today” and it was so. His example of deep and intimate walk with the Lord should be emulated by all leaders. He did not only know the deeds of God, but he knew His ways too (Read Exodus 33:13a; Psalm 103:7).

Closing Prayer
Take some time to plead with the Lord to raise godly leaders for our young people to emulate in this generation.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Hebrews 12:2 ‐ 3
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

* Grace for godly child and youth upbringing
PRAY AGAINST:
* The spirit of domestic violence, infidelity and divorce in any home.
